Lesson Summary
Throughout the school year, students will participate in a monthly mindfulness routine designed to cultivate mental and emotional well-being.
The mindfulness calendars will provide daily prompts and practices that encourage students to integrate mindfulness into their everyday lives, both inside and outside the classroom. By consistently engaging with these practices, students will learn to manage stress, increase focus, and develop greater self-awareness. This ongoing practice will support their overall mental health, enhance their learning experience, and contribute to a more harmonious classroom environment.
It provides various tools and activities for promoting mindfulness:
- Setting goals for personal growth
- Noticing and appreciating nature
- Spending quality time with family and loved ones
- Reflecting on achievements and personal growth
- Expressing gratitude for the blessings in life
- Writing down positive thoughts and experiences
- Practicing gratitude daily
- Reflecting on past experiences and learning from them
