- Affirmation bracelet template (recommended to be printed on Cardstock (65–80 lb / 176–216 gsm)
- Crayons, markers, or colored pencils
- Scissors
- Tape, glue sticks, or string
- Hole punch

- Reflect on personal strengths and positive self-talk
- Practice mindfulness through coloring
- Create a bracelet that serves as a daily visual reminder of personal affirmations
Lesson Outline:
Introduction (5–10 minutes):
- Brief discussion on what affirmations are.
- Talk about the power of words and how they affect our thoughts and emotions.
- Invite students to share any affirmations or positive words they’ve heard or used.
Creative Activity (20–25 minutes):
- Distribute affirmation bracelet templates.
- Students choose affirmations that resonate with them or create their own.
- Decorate the bracelets with colors that reflect their personality or emotions.
Assembly (5 minutes):
- Students cut out and tape their bracelets to wear or take home. You can also use a hole punch and a piece of string to secure them in a way that allows them to be easily removed.
- Encourage them to repeat their chosen affirmation silently or out loud as they wear it.
